Partner Portal

All Red Cactus partners have access to the partner portal. You can arrange everything about your customer in the partner portal. Add or manage your customers, users and licenses yourself. You can also download the software or the billing file from the partner portal. The partner portal can be found via https://redcactus.nl by clicking login at the top richt or on the button below.

Login

To add an administrator in the partner portal, go to:

Admin > Users and click Add User. When creating the user, check the following:

  • User is customer admin

Single sign-on or password

On all our services, including the web portal, we support single sign-on so that a user can sign in with their Microsoft or Google account. Make sure that the email address (username) is the same as that used in Microsoft or Google. Of course it is still possible to create your own password.

You can download the software from the web portal under Software. There are three different types:

  • Alpha
  • Beta
  • Stable

Alpha

New functionalities are first released as Alpha. Our test users have access to this version.

Beta

New releases are first released as beta. These are the versions with the latest functionalities, but not yet marked as ‘stable’.

Stable

All software versions are rigorously tested. After the release of a new version, it will first be offered as a beta for a few weeks. Only after approval from our developers does the version go to ‘Stable’.

You can download the software on your own PC via the download button.

Get download link

It is also possible to retrieve the download link and then send it to someone. Click on the arrow icon to copy the download link.

Release notes

By clicking on the version number you open the changelog and you can read the release notes for each software version.

Om klanten aan te maken ga je naar  Reseller > Customers > klik op Add Customer. Zoals omschreven onder facturatie  is het mogelijk je klant een eigen debiteurnummer mee te geven zodat die in het facturatiebestand wordt opgenomen.

Country

Zorg ervoor dat je het juiste land hebt geselecteerd omdat deze parameter ook wordt gebruikt bij het kunnen toevoegen van de juiste landcode in het zoeken op het juiste telefoonnummer in diverse CRM- ERP- applicaties.

Klant deactiveren

Indien je klant geen gebruik meer wenst te maken van de Red Cactus software, kun je de klant deactiveren. Open de klant in de partnerportal en vink het kruisje uit bij Customer is activated en klik op Save. De licenties die mogelijk nog actief staan onder de klant worden met deze actie direct gedeactiveerd.

Filter overzicht

In het overzicht waar je klanten staan kun je filteren op:

  • Active
  • Non Active
  • Both

It is possible to log in as your customer in the partner portal. To do this, go to Reseller > Customers > and click on the green icon in your partner portal.

Return

If you want to return to your own portal, you have to click on Exit in the red bar at the top of the partner portal.

To create users (Users) under the customer, go to the tab Users . It is possible to create the users individually by clicking Add User or import a whole list of users by clicking onImport.

User

A user without administrator rights can access the portal, but only the item Software visible and downloadable.

Company Administrator

When creating a user, you can provide the user with admin rights, making them company administrator. With these admin rights, the company administrator can:

  • See other users within the company including status and software version
  • Edit names
  • Add internal numbers
  • Create users (no bulk!)
  • Manage Phone Connector
  • Activate CRM ERP Applications

What a business administrator CANNOT do is:

  • Adjust company details
  • Purchasing and assigning licenses (to be done by the Red Cactus partner)
  • Adjust company settings

Management

From the overview in the portal under Users various components are visible that make it easier to provide support. The overview shows the following:

  • Status (user online or offline)
  • User email
  • User first name
  • User’s last name
  • Activated modules
  • Internal phone number/extension
  • Last online (date, time)
  • Active or inactive
  • Creation date
  • Software version

To assign the licenses (modules) to the user(s), go to the tab modules . You will see the following items:

  • Modules
  • Activate for users
  • Trials
  • Credits

Modules

Under modules you can activate the desired business license. Tick the desired module and click Save . You will then be notified of the costs and the question whether you agree to this.

Activate for users

After creating the business license, you can activate the user license. Check the desired user (per user or all at ones) and click Save . You will then be notified of the costs and the question whether you agree to this.

Credits

If you already want to activate user licenses as admin, but do not yet assign them to the users, you can use the module credits. Here you prepare the licenses (from that moment on they will also appear in the billing export) that you can assign to a user at a later time.

Trails

If you want to have your customer tested before actually activating the paid licenses, you can use a trail license. This is a free license valid for 30 days for up to 5 users. You can activate this in the partner portal under the tab modules. After activating the trail license you must follow the procedure under ‘Activate For User’.

Activate for users

After creating the Trial business license, you can activate the Trial user license. Check the desired user (per user or all at ones) and click Save .

Notification

Both the user and the partner will receive a notification by e-mail 7 days before the trial ends. The last notification will be sent on the last day of the trial.

Overview trials 

In the partner portal under Reseller > Trials you will find an overview of your current trials. The overview contains the following data:

  • Company
  • Number of users assigned
  • Created at date
  • Expires at date
  • Active / non active

Convert to paid license

If your customer wants to continue using the software, you can convert the free trial license to a paid license with 1 push of a button. To do this, go to the tab under the customer account in the partner portal Modules > click on Modules > click on Upgrade trial.

Under the tab Bubble > Setting you can make some settings.

Allow clients to update their software

If you do not want to provide your customer with automatic updates (average frequency every 3 weeks) with new functionalities, you have the option to uncheck the box.

Allow clients to install beta updates

It is possible not to give the customer access to beta versions (see explanation under ‘Software’) by unchecking the box.

With the Clone Profiles module under the tab Bubble it is possible to roll out a configuration to all selected people at the same time. This gives you as much configuration time for 1 user as for 1,000 at the same time. Please note, this is an exact copy of the profile. If you have specific user data under the account, they will also be copied to all users. To prevent this, you can have a template made by Red Cactus so that all user-specific settings are placed under the correct account.

If you, as a Red Cactus partner, also want to use Red Cactus services for your own environment, you can configure this under Reseller > My Account. The configuration options are the same as when creating a customer, with the difference that your account is not included in the billing file that you can generate for invoicing your customers.
